FALL-WINTER 2018 SCHEDULE

October 10--Just for Fun Dinner

For those interested, we will have another just-for-fun dinner at Aposto at the Scala House, 644 18th Street in Sherman Hill.  We will gather at 5:15 pm, Wednesday, October 10. Come socialize and enjoy the delicious European cuisine. This event is open to everyone but reservations are required in order for the restaurant to accommodate our group.  Please, RSVP no later than Monday, October 1 to Dash Kelley at dashlekelley@gmail.com.

October 14--ECW Monthly Meeting

The ECW meets upstairs in Orvis hall the second Sunday of each month (September-May) between the morning services (approximately at 9 a.m.).

October 15--Fall Study Begins!  The Case for Christ, by Lee Strobel

This 6 week study will be on Monday nights 6-7 p.m. and is open to everyone.

October 23--Prepare & Serve Homeless Shelter Meal

Volunteers are needed to help cook and serve the shelter meal on Tuesday, October 23. Donations are needed either by signing up to bring or pay for meal ingredients.  Contact Mark Johnson (277-3052) for more info.

October 28--Sack Lunch Buddies Packing

Join us in Orvis Hall at 11:15 a.m. on the fourth Sunday each month to pack lunch sacks to be taken to Central Iowa Shelter.

October 28--Movie Night (Potluck at 4:00 p.m., Movie at 5:00 p.m.)

"The Case for Christ" (Rated PG)   An investigative journalist and self-proclaimed atheist sets out to disprove the existence of God after his wife becomes a Christian.

October 29--Fall Study: The Case for Christ, by Lee Strobel

This 6 week study will be on Monday nights 6-7 p.m. and is open to everyone.

November 5--Fall Study: The Case for Christ, by Lee Strobel

This 6 week study will be on Monday nights 6-7 p.m. and is open to everyone.

November 11--World War I Benefit Concert

Join us for an afternoon concert at 2:00 p.m. to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day and the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the American Legion.  The concert will be held at Highland Park American Legion Post #374 (3712 2nd Ave., DSM)

November 12--Fall Study: The Case for Christ, by Lee Strobel

This 6 week study will be on Monday nights 6-7 p.m. and is open to everyone.

November 18--Commitment Sunday!

This year will be a little different--join us BETWEEN THE SERVICES upstairs in Orvis Hall for a Continental breakfast and a short celebration for this year's Stewardship drive.

November 19--Fall Study: The Case for Christ, by Lee Strobel

This 6 week study will be on Monday nights 6-7 p.m. and is open to everyone.

December 1--Cup O'Cheer
